Today in Westmoreland, New Hampshire the oldest certified person in the United States, Mary Joesephine Ray died at the incredible age of 114 and 294 days at a nursing home. Ms. Ray was the second oldest person in the entire world, Japan's Kama Chinen is 114 and 301 days. Joesphine Ray was born May 17th, 1895 in Bloomfield, Prince Edward Island Canada. Remarkably, Josephine was extremely active for her age, excitingly planning her next birthday party. We don't know how many years God will give us on the Earth, but regardless of the quantity of years, we need to make them quality years of service and love for Christ and his people. The article didn't go into her religious background but how awesome would it be to have 114 years of life to impact others and lead them to Christ, in whatever calling your life takes. Life is precious and we never know when were gonna go but all we know is that at the beginning of each day is full of opportunity. Are you making the most out of everyday God gives you?
