Ian Laperriere of the Flyers was voted the toughest player in the NHL by the Sporting News for the 2010 season, which should come as no surprise at all. This guy is truly remarkable how night in and night out Lappy put his body on the line without any regard for his personal well-being. He was willing to put his face in front of a puck to block a shot and preserve a victory, thats downright heroic.
